Our aim is simple, to enable you to buy from farmers and local producers directly.         We meet all of our producers and so can you, by watching their videos and reading their detailed profiles.

 

How and why did we start up?

All of us at Blackberry Barn have a passion for fresh local food and love to visit farmers markets. Part of the enjoyment of a farmers market is actually meeting the producer themselves and learning about how they farm and where your food really comes from.

 

That is why from day one we decided, that not only would we meet and interview every single producer in person, but we would share that experience with you by video and through very detailed profiles. Like growing good food, this detail cannot be rushed. The result we hope you agree is well worth it; a true picture of where your food and drink comes from. It’s as close as you can get without popping on your wellies and visiting the farmer yourself!

 

How else are we unique?

Fresh is best, that is why we do not have dusty warehouses or nasty distribution centres. Your order is delivered directly from the producer to you. We just manage the entire process for them, so they can focus on what they do best: Producing exceptional local food and drink, that has made many of them award winners.

 

Uniquely Blackberry Barn, the producer and the purchaser can all track their orders at any time. No more waiting for random emails or phone calls about when your order will arrive! Typically each producer has two collections a week, ensuring that your mid-week event or weekend dinner party is a real success.

 

There are no hidden charges, no card processing fees and delivery is within 24hrs of the produce leaving the producer. Whether you are buying a gift selection box or indulging in a passion for local beer, only at Blackberry Barn can you really get to see where your produce comes from!
